Creating Pollinator-friendly Small Farms and Market Gardens

6-7pm Wednesday December 9, 2020

Two local long time farmer-gardeners talk about how they attract and encourage a diversity of pollinators to their productive landscapes. Learn about what to plant and basic principles for supporting pollinators. See lots of pretty pictures and think about your next growing season!

Suvia Judd is the current board president of Rural Roots, and has farmed, gardened, and practiced permaculture in Moscow for 30 years.

Ken Bunzel of Living Soil Microfarms, has been gardening for over 40 years. He works with his wife Betta on a small market garden in the city of Moscow. He spent two years at the apprenticeship program in Ecological Horticulture, part of the Agroecology program of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
