About this event
Choosing Land for Field Crops: Join Rob Spencer, Spencer Horticultural Solutions, for an overview of the key features to consider when selecting land for growing horticulture crops. Soil type, access to water, topography, and frost risk can all affect the success of these crops. See how a set of online tools can help you find the information you need.
Bring your questions for Rob during the Q&A time at the end of the meeting. This session will be recorded for participants to view for 30 days following the presentation. This workshop is one in a series of extension events, taking interested growers from planning to production. This session will benefit new producers getting into farming and established farmers looking for new ventures.
This session will be held online via Zoom. The meeting link will be emailed to registered participants. Pre-registration by October 24, 2022 is preferred.
