Women Farmers on the Rise in Idaho

Join us on Tuesday, December 1st at 10 am PST / 11 am MST for a free 1-hour program about women farmers and ranchers in Idaho!

Women farmers and ranchers are essential to Idaho agriculture.

Using 2017 USDA Census of Agriculture data, University of Idaho research faculty will highlight key information about women farming and ranching in Idaho. They will also discuss how educators and technical assistance providers might better support women producers by increasing their access to USDA resources and educational opportunities. This project is supported by a grant from USDA-NIFA.

Presenters: Ryanne Pilgeram, Ph.D. & Katie Dentzmen, Ph. D. – University of Idaho Department of Sociology
